IDA Institute Training

IDA meets the assessment criteria required by IDEA, and the IDA process is consistent with the National Task Force on Screening and Assessment of the National Early Childhood Technical Assistance System (NECTAS) guidelines.

Professional Online Training

The IDA Institute Faculty, comprised of IDA Authors and other experts in the field, provide essential training to meet the unique needs of you and/or your organization. The IDA-2 Online Self-Guided Training Program covers all aspects of the IDA including the Family Interview, Health Review, Provence Profile Measure and Service Planning and Recommendations. The IDA-2 study is a combination of reading, interactive feedback, video instruction, case exercise. and live web consultation. The Online Training Course includes video instruction, case exercise, and an opportunity to practice administering the IDA2 Provence Profile by watching and scoring videos of children at different ages between three months and three years.  Upon completion of the Online course learners are invited to join a live web-based consultation session to share practice experience, ask questions, and interact with others using the IDA in a variety of professional settings. A Certificate is awarded upon successful completion.

Live Webinar Training

We offer regularly scheduled Live Webinar Training dates or contact us to arrange a Live Webinar or On-site Training for your group. This Training covers all aspects of the IDA, including the Family Interview, Health Review, Provence Profile Measure, and Service Planning and Recommendations. We are able to tailor the training to add more depth to any or all of the components based on your specific staff needs. The Webinar provides an opportunity to practice using the IDA2 Provence Profile Developmental Measure by watching and scoring videos of six children at different ages between three months and three years and integrating findings that result in determining specific support and service needs. A Certificate is awarded upon successful completion.

Individualized Consultation and Support

Private one-on-one live web-based consultation sessions are provided by an experienced IDA-2 trainer in which you may share practice experience, ask questions, and focus upon the key areas of the IDA-2 for which you need support. You may purchase and schedule your support session directly or contact us for further information.
